Douglas Street Community Supportive Recovery program is a 22-bed residential program located in Victoria, BC. Each resident has a private room equipped with a full washroom.
The Supportive Recovery program is a co-ed harm reduction-focused approach to offering drug users a supportive program aimed at stabilizing their lives. It provides psychosocial and clinical supports for respite from substance use, transition to other opioid replacement therapies, and low-barrier access to safely transition back into community. Douglas Street Community Supportive Recovery provides a safe and encouraging environment with a blend of holistic programming running seven days per week.
Activities include yoga, mindfulness meditation, art therapy and creative writing, alongside more traditional programs like 12-step, NA and SMART Recovery. The Supportive Recovery Program is culturally supported by our Indigenous Outreach Coordinator.
